Today, on February 4, 2015, proposed cybercrime legislation ‘Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2015’ was approved by the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information Technology. This will now be tabled before Parliament before moving on to the Senate. In this note, we highlight some areas that require attention, before it is written into law.
